Aardvark Audio Disc Jockeys & Entertainment LLC is Ron and Christy Lamoreux, a husband and wife team from Southington, CT. Their level of intensity, professionalism and commitment to perfection keep them in demand throughout New England.
It began in 1980 when Ron and his brother formed “The Lamoreux Brothers” who later went on to become Connecticut recording artists with songs like “Circle” and “I Can’t Take It Anymore”. “The Lamoreux Brothers”, known for their Everly Brothers-style harmonies, were regulars on the local and Northeastern club circuit. They also performed at weddings, parties and charitable events such as the annual Jerry Lewis Telethon.
In 1989, after winning the Connecticut Country Music Association award for “Vocal Group of the Year 1988″ and the Country Music Association of America, Colony States Region award for “Vocal Group of the Year 1988″, the Country Music Association of America awarded them the national award for “Vocal Group of the Year 1989″. Later, Ron would become a performing member of the 50′s group, the “Tempos” and the a cappella group, the “Redding Brothers”.
Ron applied his experience with live performance to the growing demand for disc jockey services in New England and created Aardvark Audio Disc Jockeys & Entertainment LLC. Brides from New Hampshire to Virginia have relied on Aardvark Audio to provide professional, quality disc jockey service and live entertainment since 1990.
Whether you’re interested in Ron’s vocal talents, or both, the bonus is Christy. Her role is not only to assist Ron for a smooth-flowing reception, she provides a service to their brides that only a woman can truly perform. She’s there for you from the initial phone call through the planning stages and final coordination of your day, providing information and advice on where to shop, how to handle unique situations that may arise and wedding etiquette. Not all facilities have an on-site coordinator to assist you the day of your wedding and something as simple as bustling a gown can turn into a stressful situation. Christy is there to help as your personal, “Day-Of” coordinator. Why pay for just one disc jockey when you can have two DJs and a wedding coordinator all for the same price?

Ron serves as Master of Ceremonies / Emcee and Disc Jockey. Christy is your Event Coordinator / DJ Assistant.
